Title: Midrange Upgrades
I just wanted to thank you again for all your time and help with my midrange upgrade project. After about 120 hours of break-in, things are really sounding amazing. It's like a blanket was lifted off the front of the speakers. I can hear much further into the soundstage than before, and am able to pick out individual sounds such as instruments and voices and place them in their 3-D space. This is something I had not experienced before, so I am thrilled. Guitars and other strings actually have wood bodies that resonate, and I can hear that...the sweetness/richness is still there, but much more detail and clarity is also apparent. I can't wait until the Platinum is fully broken in; it's hard to believe that it's still going to get better. Also improved is the noise floor, which now seems to be essentially non-existent. Music emerges from a black background of silence, making everything much more lifelike. In short, I can't thank you enough for all your expert advice. I couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks again, you have a customer for life.
