Old Concept New Technology
A unique blend of the old with refinements of the new. The Jupiter Condenser HT line of capacitors features a reinforced beeswax paper dielectric and (with further improved impregnation techinques) is now cased in a non drip/melt casing that can withstand higher operating temperatures. Perfect for use where natural sound is a requirement. The following parts consist of aluminum foil terminated with Silver 20awg leads. These 5% tolerance parts will operate at steady state temperatures up to 70 C/158 F. Jupiter capacitors are manufactured in the USA using only materials made in the USA. All HT parts are Cryogenically treated.

The Jupiter capacitor boasts
a "plastic free" construction consisting of Aluminum foil
and paper/bee's wax. The sound is extremely warm and rich
with perhaps a bit more detail than many PIOs. While the character
of this capacitor should be right at home in any tube equipment,
note that it should never be installed where temperatures exceed
110 degrees Fahrenheit. Further, they are not safe for high
voltage power supplies. Tolerance is listed as 10%. |
