Love this plug. It replaced a Connex plug that seemed to muddy the bass and just never sounded right. My goal is to obtain tighter bass going forward and this new Cardas E-5 did the trick and then some. I paired it with a 3' length of Neotech NEP 3002 MkIII and though I did not try other plug and wire combinations (other than the Connex), this pair firmed up that bass and added a smoothness and easiness to SQ that works well for me.
I am amazed at how a plug can change the SQ of an entire system but it does!
